The theme for this year’s summit is “Community Schools: Engines of Innovation.”

We’ll help you develop fresh and innovative strategies for all of the pieces that make up a community school (including college and career preparation, parent engagement, community partnerships, after school/enrichment programs, and wraparound supports), as well as work with you to combine your strategies into systems that support student success.

Time will be split between learning and planning sessions, with each campus team presenting plans and strategies at the end of the summit in a “Shark Tank” format. The top presentations will receive funding that can be used for implementation. Teams can be combination of campus administrators, teachers, support staff, parents and campus/community partners. Individuals are also welcome. Spanish language interpretation is available.

Each participant will also receive a notebook with summit materials, as well as breakfast, lunch and snacks during the day.
