(August 23, 2021) Just a day before schools opened in Austin, AVEY parent leaders, along with their children, joined Mayor Steve Adler and County Judge Andy Brown to speak out against Governor Greg Abbott’s refusal to allow school districts to mandate masking during the current surge in COVID-19 infections.
